~ A Message from a Proud American ~     You may bend but cannot break us For your actions simply wake us. We will face you side by side And you will not destroy our pride. So if you think we’ll shrink in fear; You just don’t know us over here. Behind each life that you have taken An army stands, we’re stirred not shaken. You just awoke a sleeping giant. We are one, we’re proud, defiant. Our strength cannot be found in places, But hearts and souls, determined faces. Our freedom can’t be bound or gagged. We stand united by our flag. Your cowardice is all you know You strike, you run and hide below. But rest assured you will be found We’ll cover every inch of ground. And every life will be avenged You’ll face America and friends.
